Osaka Prefecture “Naniwa no Meiko” award

Our employee Mutsuhide Nakao (General Manager, Neyagawa Factory) received the “Naniwa no Meiko” award of Osaka Prefecture in FY 2011, recognizing him as one of Osaka’s most preeminent technicians.

The reason for the award is “this person is extremely skilled in metal heat treatment, and has established conditions and management method for vacuum carburizing heat treatment as well as technology and managing method for lost wax casting of heat treatment jigs, which resulted in shortened processing time and higher energy efficiency. This was a great contribution to the environment and safety.

Also, he strives to convey and disseminate heat treatment skills by holding seminars on certification for metal heat treatment, fostering around ten certified technicians every year.”
