Our response to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

TOHKEN THERMOTECH CO., LTD. has established and implemented the following infection prevention measures in consideration of the health and safety of all stakeholders, including employees and their families, customers, and business partners, and is continuing business as usual.

The specific infection prevention measures being implemented as of February 1, 2021 are as follows.

Measures for contact with external parties and planned events (implemented for a set period)

1. Postpone or cancel company-related New Year’s parties, social gatherings, welcome/farewell parties, and other dining events

2. Postpone or cancel training sessions, seminars, lectures, etc.

3. In principle, travel using public transportation during working hours is prohibited

*Except in exceptional cases approved by the company

4. Use video or web conferences for meetings with internal and external parties

5. In principle, business trips to business partners and travel to other factories are prohibited

*If travel to other factories is unavoidable for business purposes, obtain company approval, avoid the 3 Cs, and limit meetings and consultations to around 30 minutes

6. Postpone or cancel visits by external parties to our company after explaining the purpose of preventing COVID-19 infection

Infection prevention measures in company buildings and factories

1. Thoroughly wear masks in factories and offices

2. Thoroughly ventilate the office at all times

3. Strengthen patrols in the factory

– The factory manager, other managers, full-time supervisors, etc. will conduct patrols at all times
– Check that masks are being worn properly and that no crowded conditions have occurred

4. Check and provide guidance to avoid crowded conditions in rest areas and smoking areas

5. Install acrylic panels on cafeteria tables

6. Install acrylic panels on office desks

7. Create and install posters regarding 1. to 6. above as appropriate, and thoroughly publicize them by repeatedly calling for them at morning meetings

Recommended measures for employees and internal stakeholders outside of working hours

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap or alcohol

2. Wear a mask

3. Get enough sleep and eat a balanced diet

4. Use a humidifier to maintain appropriate humidity (50-60%)

5. Avoid crowds as much as possible
