What is the Act on Promotion of Measures to Support the Development of the Next Generation?

This refers to a law enacted in July 2003 (Heisei 15) as part of measures to address the declining birthrate.
In order to create an environment in which children who will lead the next generation can be born and raised in good health,
The responsibilities of the national government, local governments, employers, and citizens will be clarified and implemented in a focused and systematic manner.
This was created to help us tackle this challenge.

What is the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace?

Aiming to create a society where all women who wish to succeed in their careers can fully demonstrate their individuality and abilities,
this law, enacted in August 2015, calls for reforms from the national government, local governments, and private employers,
and its purpose is to make it easier for women to work and to help them build long-term careers.
